Meeting concluded There
Hydatidology outstanding participation of professionals in the region
VIEDMA (AV) .- They finished in Cordoba the XXVI National Hydatid Disease, organized by the International Association of Hydatid Disease under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Nation.
The conference was preceded by the Annual Meeting of the Southern Cone Project for Control of hydatidosis, which brings together the Southern Cone countries where hydatid disease is endemic, coordinated by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
Black River delegation, composed of health workers, physicians, biochemists and veterinarians Ministry of Health, during both meetings was outstanding participation.
In the medical field, the three special conferences for treatment of hydatid disease were provided by professionals in the health system as Rio Negro doctors Salviti Hospital Juan Carlos Bariloche, Carlos Mercapide Zatti Viedma Hospital and the Hospital Mario del Carpio Jacobacci . Developed professionals in their presentations, diagnosis and treatment schemes applied in Black River are considered the method of choice as a role model in endemic areas.
Dr. Antonio Gatti, biochemical laboratory services environmental health Viedma was convened by the OPS for a panel of four experts from South America who will be responsible for developing standards containing diagnostic strategies and techniques used in a coordinated manner the countries of the region for the diagnosis of hydatid disease in different hosts.
Finally, the board of the closing ceremony, for the presentation of programs of control of hydatid disease of Patagonia, all program managers in the region, decided that the regional launch was conducted by two health workers Río Negro, Romina Hueche Gasques and James, both of the Hospital of Sierra Colorada.
