Presented at the case of a child with a liver hydatid cyst (HCL) type III (classification of Gharby) detected by ultrasound cadastre. In general this type of HCL we operate, but considering its size and the possibility of appropriate follow-up we decided to treat with albendazole obtaining an excellent result.
